Key features of ORIENTAL HDI health insurance

Policy Extension : The policy can be extended to cover the persons visiting SAARC countries i.e. South Asian Association for Regional cooperation countries which include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka. The policy would be extended without any additional premium but the insured need to obtain written permission from the insurance company.

Animal bite : A maximum of ₹5000 per incident would be provided for the expenses incurred on immunisation injections towards treatment for animal bite such as dog bite, monkey bite, cat bite etc. This would be given as a part of the domiciliary hospitalization expenses.
