Deepa is an assistant vice president of sales and business development at Ethika Insurance. Deepa leads Ethika Insurance’s Mumbai office, where she manages a talented team to drive results for clients across the western region.

Deepa started working with us since 2018 to help grow the company’s western region presence. Since her time at Ethika Insurance, she has worked on clients including Enelx, Trygin, Candere, Helmerich, Browser stack plus many others in the technology space. Deepa’s client work has been recognized by the both at the client’s side & the Insurers.

Deepa possess dual graduate degree in Commerce and Law. She has immense knowledge and experience which she has gained while working for 12 years in the corporate sector in India. Deepa is obsessed with cooking; she is an expert when it comes to regional foods. She is an avid reader and loves to travel & explore!

Started career with General Insurance Industry by joining with New India Assurance Co., in 1993; embraced with all the verticals viz., Operations, Accounts, In-house Surveyor (Motor-OD), Internal Audit and Motor Technical Departments by serving at Branch level, Divisional Office level and Regional Office levels till 2005.

Being an Associate (Marine spl.) from Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai and acquired MBA (Marketing spl.) moved to Private Insurance sector for a better career. Joined with Cholamandalam GIC in 2005 as Asst. Manager (Underwriting) and rose up to the cadre of Asst. Vice President. In the tenure of 15 years with Private Insurance Sector extended services as Underwriter, Claims Manager, Branch Manager (Retail sales), Regional Manager (Bancassurance) for United A.P., Branch Head (Retail & Corporate), State Head (Corporate Sales). In the span of 15 years with MNCs, served customers through Chola MS GIC, Reliance GIC, Future Generali GIC and Magma HDI GIC., Marketing is an activity, comes from blood but not by reading books & listening at class rooms. The traits like Commitment, Diligence, Honesty and Loyalty are my strengths.
